Freshman year sucked cuz I got lost
The first day I arrived.
New school, new friends, new teachers too...
I'm shocked that I survived!
Sophomore year I made some friends
But didn't quite fit in,
But still---it was much better
Than the year before had been.
Junior year, I'm happy;
I've got a lot of friends,
And thus the year flew quickly
As the summer brought the end.
Senior year, now I'm on top
(The Freshman seem so small!).
I've got a boyfriend, lots of friends,
So little time to do it all.
In two weeks I will graduate,
It's time to walk the stage.
College comes in just two months,
But I don't quite feel my age.
I'll miss my school quite a bit
For all its good and bad,
I'll miss my friends and teachers
And the few fun classes that I've had.
I'll miss the water fountains
With the gum stuck to the side,
I'll miss those long days after school
When I didn't have a ride.
I'll miss the lunchroom pizza
And those yummy cardboard fries,
I'll miss the lunch-line drama
And the just-another-guys.
I'll miss hanging out with friends
It took two years to meet,
I'll miss the failing quizzes
(But atleast I didn't cheat.)
Broken bones and broken hearts,
Both heal over time.
Live your life for all its worth
While you're still in your prime.
